Reputation Of French Surete Suffers

(Rec. 9 a.m.) PARIS, February 24. The reputation of the famous French Surete Nationale, which is almost as legendary as that of Scotland Yard, is suffering. Yesterday an unnamed employee of the Finance Bureau absconded with 4,000,000 more francs.
