Mock Battle Between U.S. and British Forces

PORT OF SPAIN, October 18. A large-scale mock battle was staged last night off Trinidad between United States- Navy aircraft and ships of the British Home Fleet which are cruising in West Indies waters. A United States Navy announcement said that the visit of the British Fleet to Trinidad had offered an excellent opportunity for personnel of the British and United States forces to become better acquainted and understand better each other’s problems. The British Fleet is commanded by Admiral Sir Rhoderick McGrigor, whose flagship is the Duke of York.
