FARMER RECEIVES FATAL RIFLE WOUND
(P A ) LEVIN, October 18. As’ a result of what is believed to have been an accidental discharge 01 a rifle Roulston Rutherford Smith, aged about 35, a married man with foui young children, lost his life in a cowshed on a farm at Shannon last evening. Mr Smith went to a cupboard where milking machine parts and the rifle were stored. His wife heard a shot and turned to see her husband lying on the shed floor.
