Mi - C. R. Paterson, apiary instructor, Department of Agriculture, left this morning on his return to Hamilton. Mr K. McL. Baxter, secretary of the New Zealand Federation of Labour has been exected by the trade unions to represent the federation at the conference of the World Federation of Trade Unions at Brussels next February. The federation announced that Mr Baxter was elected on the first count, with a foui’ to one majority, over the three other candidates. —(P.A.)
