Price Tribunal Test Suggested
“I think that one of the first things we must do is to test the right of the Price Tribunal to legislate for public bodies,” declared Cr L. M. Wright at a meeting of the Dunedin City Council, after the chairman of the Gas Committee, Cr R. F. Barr, had reported on the application to the Price Tribunal for an increase in gas charges —an application on which the tribunal reserved its decision. “I hope the decision of the tribunal will not be long delayed, Cr Wright said.
