ARRIVALS Thursday, October 14. Kaimai, s.s. (9JO a. m ) 784 tons, Pettey, from Wellington. Union Steam Ship Co, agents. • COASTWISE MOVEMENTS The Kaimai entered port this morning from Wellington. She will load coal for return. The Omana has been delayed by wet weather in loading coal for Auckland and is now scheduled to sail tomorrow. The Kartigi arrived in the roadstead this morning from Wellington. On entering port she will load coal for return. A , The Gabriella was scheduled to clear Wellington today with approximately 300 tons of general cargo for Greymouth. After discharging she will load coal for Miramar. The Matthew Flinders is at present loading timber for Sydney. She is expected to sail during the week-end. INTER-COLONIAL VESSEL The Union Steam Ship Company’s new inter-colonial cargo vessel, Kaitoke, built by Messrs Alexander Stephen and Son, Glasgow, left the United Kingdom on October 8, after loading salt and general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wellington, in that order. Tire,, port of registry of the Kaitoke will be Dunedin. The vessel is commanded by Captain G. H. Kime and Mr W. H. Insley is chief engineer. The Kaitoke is of 5170 tons deadweight.
