SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER UNDERGOES OPERATION
(PA.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Sir Laurence Olivier entered hospital after appearing with the Old Vic Company last evening and an operation to his knee took place this morning. It was reported at midday that he was “progressing satisfactorily.” It would be necessary, however, for him to remain in hospital until Friday, when he expects to 'leave with the company by the Corinthic on his return to England.
