(P.A.) WANGANUI, October 10. The Wanganui Trotting Club’s meeting opened on Saturday in bright sunshine after heavy showers during the morning. There was a fair attendance. *T|he totalisator handled £22,560, against £21,877 10s on the corresponding day last year. The track was easy, but improved. Sirus paid nearly £BO in the Rutland Handicap, and just under double figures when she won the President’s Handicap.
