AUCKLAND BUTCHERS AND MEAT PRICES
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Difficulties facing retail meat traders were discussed last night at a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Master Butchers’ Association. A resolution was passed saying that of the present high stock prices and unjust trading conditions in the retail meat trade, immediate relief was needed. If no relief was forthcoming in three weeks, another meeting would be held to decide what action should be taken to give relief to meat traders.
