Airways Employee Succumbs To In juries
<P.A.) AUCKLAND. This Day. An employee of Pan-American Airways, who suffered serious head injuries when a jeep he was driving was involved in an accident on Canton Island in July 7, died in the Auckland Hospital yesterday. He was James Frederick" Harold Bullock, aged 31. a son of Mrs B. C. Bullock, ot Manurewa, Auckland.
Bullock was employed on Canton Island as engineer in charge of th? plant 'for distilling drinking water from the sea. The day after the accident he was flown to Queen’s Hospital. Honolulu. His condition improved sufficiently to enable him to be brought to Auckland Hospital by Pan-Ameri-can Clipper, Polynesia, in mid-AugUst. Although he was unconscious on arrival, he had suffered no ill-effects from the air journey.
