Catholics And World Council Of Churches
(Rec. 1 p.m.) AMSTERDAM. August 29. Every Roman Catholic Church in Holland celebrated a special Mass for the World Council of Churches on the order of Monsignor de Jong, Cardinal Archbishop of Utrecht, although the Catholic Chui ch i elused to participate in the council. The Archbishop said the Roman Catholic Church could not carelessly ignore the “great, sincere desire foi unity,” out of which the World Council had been born.
