Public Service Problems
A Cabinet committee is to be set up to look into Public Service problems,” said the Prime Minister (Mr P. Fraser) at the annual conference at Wellington today of the New Zealand Public Service Association. When problems cropped up they could be discussed, said Mr Fraser, because there was no problem which was not capable of solution. The set-ting-up of the Public Service Commission had been an experiment. There was no deviation from the question of commission control, which the association was supported throughout, for very good reason.— (P.A.)
