DEPUTATION TO MEET PRIME MINISTER AND MINISTER OF WORKS
With a view to discussing lhe question of Government assistance for the proposed Grey Valley water supply extension and the Cobden sewerage scheme, arrangements have been made by Mr J. B. Kent, M.P., for a deputation from the Greymouth and Brunner Borough Councils and the Grey County Council to meet the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, and the Minister of Works,- Mr Semple, at Wellington on'August 26. The deputation to discuss matters pertaining to the water supply extensions in the Grey district will comprise the Mayor of Greymouth, Mr F. F. Boustridge, the Mayor of Brunner, Mr W. Gutberlet, the Greymouth borough engineer, Mr A. J. Fairmaid, Mr J. Ryall, M.L.C., (chairman of the Grey County Council) and Cr H. Hutchison (member of the Greymouth Borough Council). Mr Boustridge, Mr Fairmaid and Cr Hutchison will also discuss the Cobden sewerage scheme with the Ministers. The deputation will leave Greymouth for Wellington next Tuesday.
