OBITUARY Mrs Ann Wilson

The death occurred last evening after a brief illness of Mrs Ann Wilson, of Taylorville, aged 55. She was born in Scotland and came to the West Coast with her husband and family 25 years ago. For the past 20 years she had lived at Taylorville. Mrs Wilson is survived by her husband, Mr John Wilson, and five daughters, Mrs R. Leaker (Wallsend), Mrs’M. Sweetman (Greymouth), Mrs W. Dalzell (Dunollie), and Misses Margaret and Jessie Wilson (Taylorville) . The funeral will take place privately at Karoro Cemetery tomorrow. Mrs Minnie Nohra The death occurred at Greymouth on Saturday evening, of Mrs Minnie Nohra, of Greyemouth, aged 53. Born at Mt Lebanon, Syria, she came to Greymouth in 1916. with her parents. Her husband predeceased .her 28 years ago. She is survived by her father, Mr Joseph Anisy; two daughters, Margaret and Evelyn, and one son, Michael, all of Greymouth. Messrs Joseph and Carmel Anisy, of Greymouth are brothers, and she also leaves two sisters, Mesdames T. and A. Wehbi (Syria). The funeral following Requiem Mass at St Patrick’s Church, will take place tomorrow morning at Karoro cemetery. Mr A. P. Reid .(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr Alexander Peter Reid, formerly general manager and managing-director of W. D. and H. O. Wills (N.Z.) Ltd. Mr Reid came of an old Auckland family, being a son of Mr John-Reid of John Reid and Ct., merchants. The funeral of Mr Stuart Hay, ’ of Parca, took place yesterday afternoon, at the Karoro Cemetery, and was largely attended. The Rev T. G. Campbell conducted the services.
