MAN INJURED WHEN TRUCK STRIKES STATIONARY CAR

When a truck driven by James Blackmun, of Kumara, collided with a stationary car between Karoro and South Beach on Saturday evening and rolled ovei' a bank, William Foster, aged 31, of Ross, who was a passenger in the truck, suffered concussion and scalp wounds. He was admitted to the Grey Hospital and today his condition was reported to be satisfactory. The driver of the truck and two other passengers escaped with minor injuries. The stationary car was owned by Mrs N. Wallis, of Marsden road, Greymouth, but there was no one in the car at the time of the accident. Neither vehicle was seriously damaged.
