TWO MOTOR-CYCLISTS KILLED IN ACCIDENTS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 15. A youth was fatally injured on the Western Hutt road near Melling at 6 p.m. on Saturday. He was Paul Cartwright, aged 19, of Chamberlain street, Karori. He was riding a motorcycle in the direction of Wellington when he struck a telegraph pole and ran into a fence. He died soon after his admission to hospital. Another motor-cyclist was killed in a collision with a motor-car near the overhead bridge at the end of Aotea quay, Wellington, about 3.15 p.m. today. He was Harold Bentley, aged 19, blacksmith, Adelaide road, Wellington. He was riding towards the city, and the car was turning into the entrance of the floating dock yard.
