INDUSTRIAL CRISIS CONTINUES IN SYDNEY AREA
(Recd. 11.40-a.m.) ■ - . 1 ■ SYDNEY, This Day.
The Bunnerong power-house will supply full industrial and domestic power today, so long as'the coal lasts, but gas pressure will again be reduced, except for the meal periods. Bulletins have been issued almost hourly since the' commencement of the crisis early last week. The latest says that unless coal arrives this afternoon a complete black-out is likely at 7 p.m. The State Cabinet is again considering the unresolved coal shortage. The intervention by Federal and State Ministers resulted, in the northern miners calling off the threatened one-day strike today and in the'striking miners at five collieries returning to work. -
