Mr M. Fauth left by this morning’s air service, on his return to Wellington. Mr and Mrs A. Pratt left today on a visit to Wellington. Mr A. W. Wingham, who has been visiting Greymduth. left this morning on return to Christchurch. Mr H. Symons, assistant general secretary of the Public Service Association, is visiting the West Coast and will be in Greymouth tomorrow and on Thursday. Mr H. Pratt, of Greymouth, who is the holder of a number of West Coast track and road cycling chamiponships left today for Melbourne, under engagement to the Malvern Star cycle manufacturing company. Mr A. J. Panther, secretary of the Greymouth branch of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union, left today for Wellington to attend a meeting of the national executive of the union. Mr D. S. Kennedy, engineer to the Grey Harbour Board left today for Wellington to discuss with the Minister of Marine (Mr F. Hackett) and departmental officers the plans for improvements to the Greymouth harbour. Before returning to Greymouth Mr Kennedy will visit Timaru to inspect plant in operation there.
