(P.A.) , WELLINGTON, This Day. An increase in the price of raw linseed oil, amounting to Is Id a gallon, has been granted by the Price Tribunal to Dominion Industries, Ltd. The increase is from 1.5 s 6d a gallon to 16s 7d a gallon, f.o.b. main ports. The company, which applied for an increase of 2s 4d a gallon, said it was to recover higher processing costs and the cost of seed, amounting to Is Id a gallon, and to enable the company to obtain a profit of 7 per cent. The Price Tribunal, in its decision, stated lhat it was not prepared to approve an increase in price in respect to the company’s claim for an additional profit return, but that oart of the application might be reviewed after the issue of the company’s half-yearly balance sheet as at September 30, 1948.
