CRICKET SUSSEX ALL OUT FOR 86: LINDWALL TAKES SIX FOR 34

LONDON, June 5. Lindwall made another Australian two-day victory possible when he mesmerised the Sussex batsmen with his speed and swerve, and clean bowled four of them. In all, he took six wickets for 34, off 19.4 overs, two of which were maidens. Loxton also made the ball move in the air, but the recurrence of an injury to his upper thigh prevented his return to the field after lunch. Morris marked each milestone of his innings with his individual brilliance. He brought up the Australians’ 50, 100 and 200 with vigorous hooks to the boundary, and hit 21 fours. He is how right back to form, and his 152 not out was made in a little more than even time. Bradman’s 43 not out had its uncertain moments.
