Mr and Mrs F. G. Hood, of Wellington, are visiting Greymouth. Mr and Mrs A. Aiderton, of Greymouth, will leave tomorrow for Auckland, where Mrs Aiderton will sail by the Rangitata on a holiday visit to England and Scotland. At last evening’s meeting of the Board of Control of the West Coast Rugby League, a vote of sympathy was passed to the relatives of the late Mr J. Conaghan. . Appreciation of the services of Mr P. C. Blank, former president of the Hokitika Progress League, was expressed by members of the Westlcmci league last evening, and a motion to this effect was adopted.
