Estates to the value of £1,770,377 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during February, 1948. The total value of estates and funds under administration .by the Public Trustee on March 31 was £66,833,004, and the new business for the eleven months ended February 29 was £8,264,233. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 139,391.
