He has also doubled his road work and is doing extra exercise's While working in the gymnasium he has adopted the American practice of keeping on the move and not stopping until his training period is ended. He is also playing e,olf regularly. British Middleweight Champion Defeated (Rec. 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, March 16. The coloured middleweight boxer, Randolph Turpin, defeated the British middleweight, champion, Vinee Hawkins, on points over eight
rounds at Harringay stadium. Both boxers were almost at a standstill at the ©nd of the fight.
