FINE WOOLS ADVANCE AT NAPIER SALE
(P.A.) NAPIER, This Day. Fine fleece wools on offer at the second day of the Napier wool sale advanced by up to 3d per .lb. on Friday’s quotations. Strong wools were fully firm. The sale was conducted at a keen pace with the Continent entering competition much more forcefully than on the first day. Ewe wool comprising the bulk of the 22,000 bale entry made to 28fd for well-skirted parcels, with strong wool quoted from 22d to 25jd. Bellies with strong wool quoted from 22d to 25 ; 1d. Bellies and pieces also showed an improved return.to the growers.
