LONDON, March 13

The international committee of the movements for European unity has announced that Mr Churchill has accepted an invitation to be president of the Congress of Europe, the European unity conference which will open at The Hague on May 7. Mr Paul Ramadier (France) will preside over the political comffiittee and Senator van Zeeland, formerly Prime Minister of Belgium, will preside over the economic committee.
