(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The problem of Jewish displaced persons in Austria is very serious,” said Mr W. Collings, of Wellington, who returned after several years in Vienna as an (Officer of the International Refugee Organisation. He said the organisation was relying on the early partition of Palestine to solve the problem. There were 55,000 displaced persons of Allied nationalities in Austria as well as 180,000 displaced persons of other nationalitess.
