23 NATIONS TO GIVE VIEWS ON ITALIAN COLONIES
(Rec. 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 15. The four-power conference on the former Italian colonies decided to invite all 20 signatories to the Italian peace treaty, and also Italy I ,’ Ethiopia and Egypt, to submit their views on the colonies’ disposal. The 23 powers must signify within 14 days of receiving the invitation whether they wish to submit their views orally or in writing. The conference also decided that interested powers, in special circumstances, will on the recommendation of the Foreign Ministers’ deputies, be given an opportunity of presenting to the Big Four their viewpoints arising from the report which the investigating commission will prepare after visiting the colonies. .
