CHURCHILL LIBEL CLAIM
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. December 10 has been fixed as the date for the hearing of the £.lOOO damages claim by Randolph Spencer Churchill against New Zealand Labour Newspapers Ltd, proprietors of the Southern Cross, for an alleged libel in a leading article in the Southern Cross dated October 1 and headed “Randolph on Show.” At the making of the fixture this morning Mr L. G. Rose appeared for Churchill and Mr T. P. Cleary for Labour Newspapers Ltd.
