Arab Threat In Middle East Affects Oil Shares
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 24. The stock exchange had a quiet morning. Leaders in the oil section experienced an initial sharp markingdown, following the possibility of an Arab threat to the Middle East oil concessions, but later they rallied. Leading industrials shed a few pence. British Government stocks showed small losses.
