The hotty button winners at the Runanga Miniature Rifle Club’s shoot last evening were Mrs Bourke and G. Hildebrand. Scores were as follows:—
G. Hildebrand 98; Mrs Bourke, R. Braithwaite 93; Mrs J. Boote, L. Patterson, G..Dalzell 92; J. Boote, W. Downes 91; W. Theyers 90; G. Boddy 89; P. Clelland, F. Garth 88; Mrs Scott 87; Mrs Wright 84, Miss Hillhouse 83. F. Galletly Wins Hotty Button At Ross Shoot F. Galletly won the hotty button at the Ross Miniature Rifle Club’s shoot on Tuesday evening, with 98, .including two “inners.” The president’s team with,924 (14 points) wpn from secretary’s 906 (4) and the club captain’s 892 (4). In a postal “own start” competition with the Christchurch Club, Ross ■scored well. Team totals (Ross figures second) were:— A. 484, 498;
B 490, 471; C 483, 475; D 492, 479; E 459, 469. A postal match with the Sumner-Redclift's Club resulted in a loss by 18 points foi' Ross, the .scores being 962,. 944. The • leaders for Mr Dingwall’s trophy are A. Busch, W. Leslie, D. K. McKay and R> Wheeler.
