KUMARA TENNIS CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Kuinara Tennis Club was held in the Fire Brigade room on Sunday when there was a large attendance. After the president and secretary’s reports were read, the balance sheet, which showed a good, credit balance, was presented.
The following officers were elected for the season:—President, A. S. McLean; secretary, Mr M. Spiers; executive committee, Messrs R. Mills, U. Evenden, M. McLean, B. Bain, J. Jeen, W. Bell and R. Mills; captain, Mr A. McLean; vice-captain, Mr B. Sharplin; selectors and tournament, commiteo,' Messrs A. McLean, B. Sharplin and M. Spiers; delegate to W.C.L.T.A., Mr A. McLean. Sunday was set down as the opening day.
