Catalina, which has been experiencing engine trouble since Sunday in various attempts to fly explosives to the stranded liner, Reynella, has finally disposed of her load. She developed engine trouble again above Fraser Island off Maryborough and jettisoned her cargo into Platypus Bay. , . As a result lOOOlbs of explosives, including cases of strikers, fuses and detonators, are drifting uncontrolled towards the shipping channels off Maryborough, the seaside resort of Pialba. . Emergency radio warnings have been flashed by radio to fishermen and sea captains off the Queensland coast as there is enough explosive afloat to sink the biggest ship in the area. .
