MORE VOTERS REMOVED FROM HUNGARIAN LISTS
BUDAPEST, Aug. 28.
The Hungarian Government has planned the Opposition Independent Party’s final election meeting. New electoral diets -posted yesterday showed that about 18 per. cent of the voters included in the first lists for the General Election on, Sunday have since been disfranchised.. They have been crossed from the lists as a result of denunciations by fellow voters or by the police, alleging that they are unfit to vote under the electoral law which excludes “former Fascists” from the polls.’ Opposition circles fear that lastminute deletions may seriously reduce the chance of the Opposition parties.
