OBITUARY Mr John Sexton

The death occurred at Greymouth this morning of Mr John Sexton, He was born at Westport 74 years ago, and for over 30 years was employed at the State coal mine at Rewanui, retiring three years ago. He had since resided in Herbert street, Greymouth. A single man, he is survived by a brother,' William, of Wanganui. A nephew is Mr Percy Sexton, of Cobden. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at Karoro Cemetery. The funeral of Mr James Doherty, of Runanga, took place this morning at the Karoro cemetery. The services at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Runanga, and at the graveside were conducted by the Rev, Father P. Foley.
