ANOTHER PLOT IN PARAGUAY
((Recd. 2 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, August 14.
Border dispatches reported that the Paraguayan Government had uncovered a plot to depose President Morinigo and negotiate peace with the rebel party. The newspaper Noticias Graficas, in a story from the frontier, stated that General Emilio de Vivar, the Paraguayan chief of staff, had been arrested and one of his aides killed. President Morinigo’s Asuncion home is reported to have been burned.
