Diamonds Worth £50,000 Disappear From Airliner
(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) THE HAGUE, August 13. Uncut diamonds worth more than £50,000 vanished from a sealed mailbag in a K.L.M. civil airliner, says the Dutch News Agency. The ■ gems, which came from Prague, were put aboard the plane in a sealed bag at Amsterdam. It was discovered on arrival at Karachi that the bag was torn and that the jewels had been removed.
