CHURCHILL HAS TO CANCEL BROADCAST
LONDON, August 13
The Daily Mail says that a political broadcast by Mr Churchill, which was arranged for Sunday, has been cancelled. The Government intervened at the last moment and informed the Conservatives that the broadcast would break the interparty agreement barring controversial broadcasts on Sundays. The Conservative Party will try to arrange for a broadcast by Mr Churchill on a week-day. ,
