Rain seriously curtailed all county cricket matches, and not one game was decided. Results were as follows: Leicester v. Glamorgan.—Leicester—first innings, 175 (Davies five for 42). Second innings, 88 for four. The match was drawn. Somerset v. Notts.—Somerset —first innings, 171. Second innings, 118 for six. Notts —first innings, 132 (Wellard six for 44). The match was drawn. Warwick v. Lancashire.—Warwickshire—first innings, 207 (Pollard six for 77). Second innings, 160 for seven. Lancashire—first innings, 295 (Place i 135; Paine five for 75). The match was drawn. Yorkshire v. Kent.—Yorkshirefirst innings, 79 (Ridgeway seven for 27). .Second innings, 111 for eight (Ridgeway five for 59), Kent—first innings, 244 (Fagg 121). The match was drawn.
