GERMANS TO DIE FOR MURDER OF ALLIED AIRMEN
(Rec. 12.15 p.m.) FRANKFURT, March 21. An American military court sentenced General Juergen Stroop and 12 of his staff to death by hanging for murdering Allied airmen who baled out during wartime. The court also sentenced three other former S.S. and police officers to 15 years’ imprisonment and four to prison terms varying from three to five years and acquitted one.
