King Farouk’s Birthday.
Egypt yesterday celebrated King Farouk’s twenty-seventh birthday. The Cairo correspondent of The Times says the main streets of Cairo were decorated and large cheering crowds assembled outside Abdin palace, but in accordance with King Farouk’s wishes there were no parades “until Egypt’s- case has been won.”—London, February 12.
