CLOUD BLANKET
TAIERI AERODROME NOT USABLE (P.A.) DUNEDIN, February 6. With a bank of cloud down to 100 ft from the ground at Taieri aerodrome yesterday, the National Airways Lodestar did not attempt to land, but continued to Invercargill. The passengers for Dunedin aboard the airliner were brought to the city by car. They left Invercargill at 5.30 p.m. and arrived here at 9.10 p.m. The passengers who were to have left Dunedin by Lodestar to-day went to z Invercargill by cars, which left at 3 o’clock this morning. The airliner, however, was able to land at Taieri shortly after 8 a.m.
