HOUSING IN RUSSIA
SMALLER DWELLINGS FOR MOSCOW (Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 2. The Moscow City Council has approved a five-year plan for housing with. emphasis on the construction of small dwelling houses on the outskirts of Moscow, instead of the barracktype of buildings nearer the heart of. the city, says The Times Moscow correspondent. The plan envisages new housing* construction. providing about 3,000,000 square yards of living, space.
Builders are paying considerable attention to foreign experiments, in suburban planning arid rapid-con-struction methods. Tile nbw. houses will have ceritral heating and Water laid bn.
