OBITUARY
Mrs. I. Jack The death occurred at Christchurch this morning of Mrs. I. Jack, aged 65. Mrs. Jack formerly lived at Cobden. Her husband, Mr. Thomas Jack, who predeceased her, was one of the partners of Jack Bros., sawmillers, Kotuku. Mrs. Jack is survived by a family of seven, Mesdames R. B. Smith, P. C. Peters (Greymouth), H. Pelling (Christchurch), and M. Walls (Auckland), and Messrs. Arnold, George (Chiistchurch), and Frank Jack (Dunedin). Mr. W. sTe. Movie The death occurred at Christchurch this week of Mr W. S. E. Moyle, one of the. founders of Rugby League football in Canterbury, aged 67. In 1912, with others, Mr Moyle broke away from the Rugby Union and was instrumental in founding the Canterbury Rugby Football League, becoming its first secreteary. He continued to take an active interest in the game until last season, and at one time or another filled most of its official positions. He also founded the Linwood Rugby League Club. Mr Moyle retired from the Railways Department shortly before the war, and since then his health had not been good.
