PARTY DISCIPLINE

EXPULSION-OF N.S.W. LABOUR MEMBER (Rec. noon) SYDNEY, Oct. 19. The State executive of the Australian Laour Party has expelled Mr. J. J. Graves, M.L.C., from the party. The executive carried the expulsion motion unanimously. . Mr. Graves was expelled because he did not attend the Coal Bill debate in- the Legislative Council on September 12 and 18 when, without his vote, the Government failed to muster a majority to prevent the Opposition drastically amending the Bill. . Mr. Graves was in Melbourne on private business during the two debates. He will retain his seat in the Legislative Council, despite expulsion from the Australian Labour Party. ■ -•
