BATTLE OF BRITAIN COMMEMORATED. —PiIots who took part in the Battle of Britain memorial flypast held in England to commemorate the epic fight of the “Few” against Germany’s hordes m September, 1940, had a big re-union after the parade. At Biggin Hill spearhead of the R.A.F. fighter attacks, a special service of remembrance and thanksgiving was conducted in the little chapel there. The service was the first ever to be televised. Five squadrons marched past after the service.
