Submarine Jeep Developed. The Untied States Navy has adopted a jeey for underwater operations by equipping it with long intake and exhaust manifolds which remain above the surface and act as breathers for the engine. The vehicles also have waterproof distributors, ignition coils and spark plugs and an aluminium carburettor housing. The submarine jeep can travel at 10 miles an hour. —New York, October 18.
