BOXING Endacott and Dornan Draw

(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 16. Frank Endacott (Australia) list 11b, and Noel Dornan (Napier) list, drew in a professional bout that went the scheduled 12 three-minute rounds, at the Civic Theatre this evening. Dornan, who had an. advantage in height and reach, used a straight‘left to advantage, but this was countered by Endacott’s right hook, which carried a lot of weight. Dornan appeared too anxious to go into a clinch, and the referee was frequently called upon to separate the men. The verdict met with a mixed reception.
