Wheat From Australia.
No arrangements have yet been made for the opening of negotiations with Australia on the price New Zealand will pay for wheat next year. It is likely that this task will be given to the general manager of the Wheat Committee, Mr. R. McPherson. Negotiations will begin about the end of the year. It is still assumed in Wellington that, the ceiling price of 5/9 a bushel will obtain, and negotiations
