HOCKEY Sydenham Teams Visit Greymouth

Sydenham hockey teams visited Greymouth during the week-end, and, on Saturday, matches with two West Coast representative teams were played on the Recreation Ground. West Coast A was defeated by Sydenham A by three goals to one. Kilday, O’Keefe and Robinson scored for the visitors, while P. Clarke netted West Coast’s only goal. The home team was more successful in the B match and defeated Sydenham by three goals to two. G. Williams (2) and Douglas goaled for the winners and Rushbridge and Brown scored Sydenham’s goals.
