The finances of the Hokitika Free Kindergarten were shown to be in a i sound position at a recent meeting. i The credit balance was revealed as ■ £96/9/6. A donation of £79, the ' proceeds of the transport ball, materially assisted towards the excellent balance and other sources of income : were: Annual fair, £7l/13/6; parents’ j donations, £3B/10/-; Government I ca’’' :+ at’m->. £75.
The following officers were elected: President, Mrs. Ross; vice-presidents, Mesdames Stevens and Butland; act-ing-secretary, Mrs. Collier; committee, Mesdames Elcock, King, Wallace, Preston, Renton, Richards, Hutchison, Misses M. E. Wilson and McLean.
